In order to protect our affiliates privacy, ICF will immediately refer these actions to our legal counsel; ICF expressly reserves all rights to take further action against those who violate our user agreement.
FTC indicates that the CAN-SPAM Act provides that “harvesting email addresses” is a violation of the Act that can give rise to criminal penalties, including imprisonment. Harvesting email addresses via unauthorized access to and use of email addresses secured from the ICF database and using those emails addresses to issue primarily commercial messages is a violation of the CAN-SPAM Act and subjects the sender to both significant civil fines ($16,000 per email) and criminal penalties.
The qualifications of coaches listed, and the information provided is not verified by ICF in any way. Milestones
In 1995, Professional Coach Thomas Leonard started the International Coach Federation (ICF) as a nonprofit organization for fellow coaches to support each other and grow the profession. The following year, a president was appointed and a board of directors established. The first ICF Chapter was established, and by May 1996, there were more than 60 ICF Chapters worldwide.
2012 ICF Bangkok Chapter was formed by pioneers, leaded by Dr. Terdtoon Thaisriwichai to play an integral role in this growth by serving as the face and voice of ICF in their local communities of Thailand. He became the first President of the Chapter. He and his Leadership Team educated coaching in Thailand through the Chapter activities and closely worked with public entities, educational institutions and private organizations to promote understanding of coaching and the ICF Bangkok Chapter.
2016, ICF Bangkok Chapter Leadership Team under Panu Satienpoch’s leadership was recognized by the Global Board Chair of ICF with 2016 Chair’s Award. The key achievements of the Leadership Team included hosting a successful conference with 200-plus attendees during International Coaching Week 2016, relaunching the chapter’s website and Facebook page, and creating new professional development offerings for chapter members. Leda Turai Petrauskiene, MCC, Immediate Past Chair of the ICF Global Board, presented ICF Bangkok’s Leadership Team with the award during a January 16, 2017, reception at the Siam Kempinski Hotel.
2018, Khanittha Lolak, PCC - President at the time, relaunched to its members the ICF Mission that says “ICF exists to lead the global advancement of the coaching professional”. This is to confirm the ICF Bangkok Chapter’s purpose to enhance professional coaches in Thailand with ICF Ethical Standard and Core Competencies. ICF Bangkok Chapter represents
In 2019, ICF Creating new organizations (family organizations), each with a unique focus and dedicated board and staff. Chayapa Kanjanataweewat, PCC- President of 2019 and leadership team made strategic decision that laid down the foundation for ICF Bangkok growth.
In 2020, ICF changed its names to 'International Coaching Federation' reflecting its broadened scope of service. Under Vitawat Kasemvudhi, PCC-President of 2020 ICF Bangkok has been legitimated by local authority, and incorporated as an association, reaffirming its legally nonprofit status.
Early 2021 ICF Bangkok has signed and become the Charter Chapter, reflecting its proven status as credible coaching organization. It still pursues the global vision that ICF leads the way in transforming lives, society thrives and clients throughICF coach practitioners with excellence. Yorde Leelawejabootr, PCC has realigned Chapter's structure and goals with ICF Global four strategic pillars for 2020-2023: Build Coaching Ecosystem, Create Integrated Community, Leverage Events/Platforms that position ICF coaches a gold standard, and Initiate Process that boosts Engaged Volunteer Leader.
In 2022, the Bangkok Chapter achieved significant milestones under the leadership of Dr. Danaiya Tang-u-thaisuk, MCC. The chapter formulated three key strategies - Understanding, Approachable, and Development – to create the correct awareness of ICF coach and to better serve the community. One of the major achievements of the chapter was the successful launch of five videos for the ICF Coach Awareness Campaign. As a result of 25 volunteer leaders’ hard work and commitment, the Bangkok Chapter was recognized with the 2022 Chapter Recognition Awards from the ICF Global.
As of April 2023 there are 309 members, and 250 credential coaches. The members are entitled to enjoy benefits provided them in many terms through various member benefits, continuing professional and business development, global community and local network.
